By downloading, registering for, accessing, or using FIVE & ONE LOVE, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Safety Guidelines:

• Universal Application: These Terms apply comprehensively to all distributions of our service, including our iOS application, Android application, and web client.
• Refusal of Terms: If you do not accept these Terms without reservation, you are not authorized to access or use the FIVE & ONE LOVE platform and must immediately uninstall our applications.

To cultivate an emotionally mature and lawful romantic ecosystem, we enforce stringent membership eligibility standards:

• Minimum Age Requirement (18+): You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Age is verified during onboarding through date-of-birth confirmation paired with validated email and phone verification.
• Right of Verification & Suspension: FIVE & ONE LOVE reserves the explicit right to suspend any account pending identity or age documentation whenever reasonable doubt or safety flags exist.
• Prior Sanctions & Legal Restrictions: You represent and warrant that you have never been convicted of a felony or sexual offense, have never been subject to a restraining order, and have not been previously banned from our platform.

The foundation of FIVE & ONE LOVE rests on genuine representation and intellectual candor:

• Truthful Profile Representation: You covenant that all information submitted, including your photos, biographic text, age, and answers to our core questionnaire ("The Five"), is accurate, current, and genuinely your own.
• Single Personal Account: Each member is permitted exactly one individual account. Creating duplicate, parody, surrogate, or shared profiles is strictly forbidden.
• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all actions taken under your profile. You must immediately notify our support team of any unauthorized account access.

FIVE & ONE LOVE offers distinct service tiers structured to support your romantic journey transparently, avoiding predatory lock-in practices:

• Transparent Auto-Renewal: Paid memberships are billed on a recurring month-to-month schedule. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least twenty-four (24) hours before the conclusion of the active billing period.
• Straightforward Cancellation: We oppose deceptive lock-in practices. You can cancel your subscription at any time without punitive fees directly via your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
• Regional Refund Policies: Statutory cooling-off and withdrawal rights (such as the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for European Union and UK consumers) are strictly honored. Beyond statutory consumer mandates, subscription charges are non-refundable unless required by regional law.
• Currency & Local Pricing: Pricing tiers are charged in local regional currencies where supported by app store distribution systems.

We preserve an elevated standard of civility and mutual dignity. You agree never to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Harassment & Hate Speech: Bullying, intimidation, derogatory slurs, misogyny, stalking, or communicating abusive or menacing content.
• Financial Solicitation & Commercialization: Asking other members for money, loans, gifts, investments, cryptocurrency schemes, prostitution, or adult commercial escort services.
• Impersonation & Deception: Uploading photos of third parties, fabricating professional credentials, catfishing, or using automated bots/scrapers.
• Privacy Violations (Doxxing): Disseminating private communications, phone numbers, addresses, or photos of other members without their express consent.

Violations of these standards empower FIVE & ONE LOVE to immediately terminate account access, revoke active subscriptions without refund, and report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.

Your physical and emotional safety is our foremost consideration, yet personal vigilance remains indispensable:

• In-App Safety Tools: Every member profile and chat conversation includes accessible "Block" and "Report" tools to quickly isolate offenders and escalate safety concerns to our 24/7 moderation team.
• Optional Identity Verification: Members may complete selfie verification to receive a "Verified Badge." A verified badge confirms only that the member's biometric selfie matched their profile imagery at the time of submission; it does not attest to character, intent, or background.

Clear demarcation of property rights protects both individual creativity and platform architecture:

• Member Content Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights in the original photos, autobiographical narratives, and answers you upload to FIVE & ONE LOVE.
• Operational License: By publishing content on our platform, you grant FIVE & ONE LOVE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to display, host, store, and adapt your content solely to operate, promote, and enhance our services.
• Platform Proprietary Rights: The FIVE & ONE LOVE brand name, logotype, visual assets, software code, matching algorithms, and questionnaire frameworks ("The Five") are the exclusive intellectual property of FIVE & ONE LOVE and protected by international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the following disclaimers govern your use of the platform:

• "As-Is" Service Delivery: The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any variety, whether express or implied.
• No Romantic Guarantee: FIVE & ONE LOVE makes no warranties or guarantees concerning finding a romantic partner, relationship outcomes, marriage prospects, or the enduring emotional satisfaction of matches.
• Profile Accuracy: While we leverage automated moderation, we do not guarantee the veracity, integrity, or character of any member on the platform.
• Financial Liability Cap: In no event shall FIVE & ONE LOVE's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms exceed the total fees paid by you in the six (6) months preceding the incident, or one hundred US dollars ($100.00 USD), whichever is greater.

Both you and FIVE & ONE LOVE possess the right to conclude this relationship at any moment:

• Member Deletion: You may deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time via in-app profile settings.
• Platform Enforcement: We reserve the right to immediately suspend, restrict, or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, suspicion of fraud, harassment of other members, or prolonged inactivity.

Given our international community, dispute resolution provisions are structured around regional consumer fairness:

• Informal Resolution First: Prior to initiating formal litigation or arbitration, you agree to contact us at legal@fiveonelove.com to attempt good-faith informal resolution for at least thirty (30) days.
• Jurisdiction-Specific Forums: For members outside the United States, disputes are governed by the statutory laws of your country of residence, preserving local consumer court access (including mandatory EU consumer protection venues). For US members, disputes are subject to binding individual arbitration with small-claims court carve-outs.

We may revise these Terms of Service to reflect shifts in applicable law, regulatory guidance, or platform capabilities. For material adjustments, we will provide at least fourteen (14) days' advance notice via email or prominent in-app notification prior to effective enforcement. Continued utilization of FIVE & ONE LOVE following the effective date signifies your binding agreement to the amended Terms.
